OakHeart Preschool was founded by Fanny Topete, an early childhood educator with over 20 years of hands-on experience working directly with children and families.
After decades in the classroom—observing children learn through movement, curiosity, and connection—Fanny created OakHeart Preschool to bring everything she believes in together intentionally, thoughtfully, and with heart.
Rooted in a deep respect for childhood and the natural world, this program blends:
• Reggio-inspired learning
• Play-based education
• Nature-inspired classrooms and outdoor exploration
OakHeart Preschool was created from years of experience and a deep belief that children need time outdoors to explore, take safe risks, connect with nature, and ground themselves in real experiences—bringing the spirit of open, nature-rich childhood into a community setting.
